Auckland Band ICE Release ‘Part of Something’

ICE (formerly It Comes Easy), fresh off a Top 5 national finalist placement in Radio BurgerFuel’s Battle of the Bands, have just released their most ambitious single to date – Part of Something. The track is scheduled for release in mid July, alongside an all ages release party at Big Fan featuring Back To The Hillside and Kliffs.
Part of Something is about the feeling of belonging – of creating something bigger than yourself. From the moment we wrote it, we knew it had more weight than anything we’d done before. ” – ICE
To bring this vision to life, the band partnered with world renowned producer Scott Seabright, whose credits include Mumford and Sons, Broods, Six60, OpShop, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Don McGlashan, Neil Finn, and Passenger. The track was produced and mixed in his Auckland studio, where ICE worked to craft the most powerful version of their sound yet.
In support of the release, ICE is currently planning a live music video filmed at Big Fan, capturing the energy of the song in its rawest and most intimate form. With the support of local videographers and a growing fanbase, ICE is positioning themselves as one of the most promising names in Aotearoa’s alternative rock scene.
