Beacon Bloom Creates Mind Bending Music Video For New Single: ‘Real’
The third instalment of Beacon Bloom’s Universe : Real harkens to both Inception and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, while keeping its own distinct footprint, following the theme of digital enlightenment.
The video depicts a down-on-his-luck character that responds to a paid medical experiment ad – which inevitably takes him way out of his depth – crossing into different realities.
The track behind the video (Real) belongs to an emerging genre that Beacon Bloom have dubbed ‘Deep Disco‘ – with recognisable dry drums, steady danceable groove and live instruments, adding a deeper, more transcendent realm and trajectory.
Don’t let the whimsical beginning of Real fool you – before you know it, you will be in the deep emotional crescendo of the song (and video) – leaving a sense of wanting to dive in again.
Real stars actor Will Alexander, was created in collaboration with the immensely talented Kita Films over 8 months in 13 locations. It was awarded funding from the competitive New Zealand arts fund New Zealand on Air . It will be entered into numerous music and short film festivals globally, alongside an extensive Instagram, TikTok and google ads campaign.
