CACO Releases New Single ‘Echoes’
Echoes is a statement piece in CACO’s career. A new direction, an embarkment into a fresh, matured sound. An ethereal, dark pop instrumental with elements of contemporary RnB and heavy-laden with harmony stacks across the entire track. The song follows CACO as he battles with his inner dialogue relating to a previous lover. Constant ringing of words playing over in his head as he tries to find the meaning beneath them all.

Visually, CACO is represented in a warehouse, a shell of what
his bedroom used to be. Cold metal walls and concrete floors
are perfect surfaces for noise to bounce off of. His eyes
bloodied and blindfolded, utterly blind to his situation.
The 27-year old Iraqi has been a relentless force in the local NZ scene, remaining completely independent for over a decade. Boasting over 30,000 Monthly Listeners on Spotify and
amassing almost 800k streams on his self-championing
anthem: More To Believe alongside fellow independent artist
Eliezer.
From production, to mixing and mastering, and even live events. CACO has been the brains, the hands and the
megaphone for all his endeavours.
In late 2025, CACO achieved a bucket-list tick off that every
local artist strives for: an NZ On Air grant for $10,000 for his
new single: Echoes.
