Rohan Evans Releases Second Single ‘Echoes of Tomorrow’

Rising young talent Rohan Evans has already made his mark in the music world with the release of his debut single, Synthetic Horizons, at just 12 years old.
Rohan is releasing his second single, Echoes of Tomorrow, today, Friday 14 August.
With the support of local musicians and a Tauranga based music studio, Rohan has transformed his original composition into a fully produced track. Over several recording sessions, Rohan collaborated with some of the Bay’s most well-known
musicians. Damian Lunson was the recording engineer and mixed the track with Hani Totorewa (Hani Dread – founding member of Katchafire), who led the project and played Keys. Rohan says he was also lucky enough to have Stan Bicknell on
drums.
“I’ve put my heart and soul into this song, and I can’t wait to share it with the world,” says Rohan. Hani Totorewa, who first met Rohan as a guitar student in 2023, quickly recognised his talent. “Within 10 minutes, I knew he was super-talented, and in two weeks we had switched from guitar lessons to songwriting,” said Totorewa. “To be there recording another one of the many songs he will have is awesome. He’s got so much potential and so many years ahead as a guitarist, drummer, singer, songwriter, or sound engineer.”
Casey Magee, Rohan’s guitar teacher of three years, praised his songwriting ability. “For his age, his songwriting is very mature, even lyrically,” said Magee. “You can forget sometimes just how young he is. I’m looking forward to what he does in the
next five to ten years.”
Rohan’s journey to recording his second single has been fuelled by hard work and determination. He regularly plays at public events and is probably the only kid in NZ who does his own paid 3 hour gigs at local venues in and around the Bay Of
Plenty. With a bright future ahead, Rohan is ready to take his own unique style to the music world. Fans can listen to Echoes Of Tomorrow now, and follow Rohan Evans Music on social media for exclusive content, behind-the-scenes insights, and updates on future projects.
