Charlotte Oldershaw releases ‘Drivers Seat’

Charlotte Oldershaw, a 20-year-old singer, songwriter and performer from Wellington, releases her newest single, Drivers Seat today (July 7th).
Drivers Seat is a pop song co-written with artist and producer Sophie Bialistocki. “It is about a late-night party, chaos, dim light and noise, and is inspired by my first encounter with my boyfriend,” explains Oldershaw.
Oldershaw has been singing and dancing since the age of three, and was performing in theatre productions from the age of 8. She has a degree in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) from Whitirea in Wellington. In 2022, she released her first and second original singles, Julian and Strange. Drivers Seat has come out of her support from NZ On Air funding and their New Music Development Program and is the first of several to be released over the coming months.
