Claudia Robin Gunn releases her three-part album Singable Songs – ‘Play, Help, Wonder’
For Claudia Robin Gunn, a song is more than a melody – a song can be a friend. For young families, she says, “the right song at the right time can transform the whole energy and dynamics in a room, or a car ride, making parenting a whole lot more melodic, harmonious and mindful”.
This philosophy runs through her new album Little Wild Singable Songs. Paying homage to Raffi’s original Singable Songs for the Very Young, Claudia sees kids music as simple yet powerful: “Raffi’s songs embody kindness and the idea that music can bring peace and harmony to the world. As a 70’s child (I was born the year this album got released) I grew up with folk music like this, and all the musical evolutions of the early 80’s.”
With dinosaurs, fire trucks, rainbows and more, the Little Wild Singable Songs album brings together the whole series Claudia’s been releasing since February 2025.
