Devilskin Unleashes ‘Half-Life of Dreams’
The first release from the hotly anticipated new Devilskin album, Half-Life Of Dreams is focused, bold, motivated and driven.
It immediately states its intent with a seductive riff evolving into an undeniable spiral of groove. The hooks just jump out of this tune from the start to the finish and Jennie’s delivery is sublime.
Half-Life Of Dreams is both classy and emotionally raw. The stellar production, courtesy of Dave Rhodes, is vividly dynamic and superbly highlights the profound despair in the lyrics. The tale of someone haunted by insomnia, searching for a remedy that ultimately comes with the weight of addiction.
The honesty is palpable, and this band sound even more confident, as the re-evolution of Devilskin continues.
