Fat Freddy’s Drop Announce New Zealand Summer Shows 2017

Fat Freddy’s Drop will play two headline shows only this summer bringing the band’s high octane soul to Auckland and Queenstown.

The rolling green grass and natural amphitheatre of Villa Maria in Auckland will resonate to Freddy’s summer vibe on 14th January. In Queenstown the John Davies Oval located between the foot of the Remarkables and the shores of Lake Wakatipu is the spectacular setting for Freddy’s concert there on 5th February, Waitangi weekend.
 
The band’s international tour schedule continues to dominate Freddy’s who embark on a second European tour this year headlining major summer shows across the continent in August before making their Hong Kong debut in November. This follows sold out shows earlier in the year celebrating the release of studio album BAYS across New Zealand, Australia, Europe and UK including a sold out double hitter at the 5000 capacity O2 Academy Brixton.
