Floyd Marsden Announces New Single ‘Passenger Side’

Floyd Marsden has announced that her brand new single will be released on August 10th 2025. Titled simply, Passenger Side, the single showcases the new musical style Floyd is leaning towards for future releases. The single is the first of many to come as part of a new album she has been working on this year.

While work on the album is still underway, Floyd has teased that the sound will move away from the thumping funk beats of The Disco Lizards (her 2024 album) and instead represent a much chiller, emotionally-centred style found in tracks such as When You Know. The track was produced and recorded in her new home studio, and leans much more down the indie-folk genre than her previous releases.

Floyd said of the release: “As I’ve been getting out all my chaotic and energetic songwriting with New Teeth, my solo stuff has become a lot more vulnerable and chill. This song is representing the things to come out of that new direction. I’m really pleased with it. I debuted this song at my first ever international show in the UK last year, and I got some very sweet feedback from it.”
