The Nomad Release New Single ‘Embrace the New Day’ ft. Rayjah45 + Announces ‘ReGenerate’ Album
Aotearoa electronic music legend The Nomad (aka Daimon Schwalger) launches the next chapter of his musical journey with Embrace the New Day, the first single from his forthcoming 30-year anniversary album, ReGenerate. Featuring the unmistakable vocals of Rayjah45 (Sub-Tribe), the track is a powerful fusion of roots reggae, dub and heavyweight bass culture.
Driven by deep, earth-shaking low end, uplifting melodies and Rayjah45’s commanding vocal performance, Embrace the New Day delivers a message of resilience, hope and fresh beginnings. It’s a modern soundsystem anthem that bridges classic reggae traditions with contemporary bass music, built for both the dancefloor and reflective listening.
Celebrating three decades of pushing musical boundaries, ReGenerate revisits The Nomad’s roots while looking firmly toward the future. Embrace the New Day sets the tone for an album that honours the past while embracing what’s next.
To celebrate three decades of music-making, The Nomad will release ReGenerate in September as a limited first pressing of just 300 double vinyl copies, each beautifully pressed on metallic red vinyl.
Alongside the vinyl, a limited run of CDs and cassette tapes will also be produced. The full 16-track album will be available across these physical formats, while only five carefully selected tracks will also be released on streaming platforms.
Rather than releasing the complete album digitally, The Nomad has chosen to make the physical editions the definitive listening experience, encouraging audiences to engage with the album as a complete body of work, while still offering a taste of the project to listeners discovering his music online.
