Grinspoon and Tadpole added to The Rock 2000 Live line-up

And just like that, The Rock have only gone and made New Zealand’s most legendary rock event even Bigger. On September 26, 2025, joining Blindspott and The Philharmonic Orchestra will be Aussie rockers Grinspoon and legendary kiwi rock band Tadpole.

With 13 ARIA Award Nominations to their name and over half a million records sold, Grinspoon are all set to take the stage at Spark Arena to perform the likes of Guide To Better Living (1997), Easy (1999), New Detention (2002) and Thrills, Kills & Sunday Pills (2004).

We couldn’t be more amped to already have Blindspott alongside a 30-piece Philharmonic Orchestra on the bill – they’re all set to perform their debut, self-titled album in full on the night.

New Zealand’s very own Tadpole are set to bring their explosive sound and charismatic live presence to Spark Arena. After disbanding in 2006 and getting back together in March last year, they’ve already returned to the stage for select performances, with the introduction of powerhouse vocalist Lauren Marshall.

They’ll be performing tracks off their debut album The Buddhafinger, which achieved double platinum status in NZ, as well as a bunch of their other hits.
