Hannah Davenport Releases New EP ‘Feeding Hand’

Alternative Indie Artist Hannah Davenport from Aotearoa, New Zealand, invites you to take a bite of her debut EP Feeding Hand out everywhere today, October 3rd 2025.
A five track EP that captures the emotional turbulence of young womanhood in modern society. Feeding Hand flips the idiom “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” to tell the story of the giver – left scarred and drained.
Feeding Hand is a sonic journey through acoustic guitar, bass, drums, piano, violin, cello, pedal steel, banjo, and layered vocals. The warm, melodic textures contrast with the often jarring emotional content, creating a “sugar-coated” soundscape that lingers long after the music ends.
As the lead singer of popular Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) band King Fish and with a following of over 40k online Hannah is no stranger to performing and has honed the ability to captivate audiences with her unique voice and enigmatic charm.
Building on previous releases Sleepy Songs and God Complex, Feeding Hand will leave listeners begging for more.
