Jackie Bristow Releases Official Music Video for ‘Let It Rain’

Directed and Produced by Shantelle Dawn and filmed in Arrowtown and Central Otago, the video captures themes of renewal, sisterhood, and connection to home.
Since its February 4 release, Let It Rain has gained strong momentum across New Zealand, Australia, and the United States, earning Apple Music editorial support, national rotation on iHeartCountry NZ and ABC Country Australia, and growing US radio airplay.
The track marks Jackie’s first-ever recorded studio duet with her sister, Katrina Bristow. While the sisters toured extensively in their youth as The Bristow Sisters, this is their first official studio release together – a full-circle moment decades in the making.
Born in Gore, the Bristow sisters performed across Southland and Central Otago at festivals, rodeos, and country music competitions. Jackie later built an international career and is now based in Nashville, Tennessee, touring globally.
Nashville is Jackie’s rock ’n’ roll home; however, she keeps getting pulled back to her birth home, Aotearoa, and loves spending time in Arrowtown and Cardrona in beautiful Central Otago, where the land grounds and inspires her creativity.
“I’ve always loved this region, but my heart feels so connected to Arrowtown, Gibbston Valley, Cardrona areas,” Jackie says. “There’s something about the mountains and rivers that relaxes my soul. I love the walks. Shooting this video in this region felt so natural and uplifting. It’s a celebration of renewal and where we come from.”
The video features beautiful imagery of Arrowtown and Skippers Canyon alongside the sisters’ harmonies, echoing through the mountains: let go of fear, release worry, and let life flow.
Co-written with Los Angeles songwriter Rosa Pullman and produced by longtime collaborator Mark Punch at SoundPunch Studios in Nashville, Let It Rain blends Americana storytelling with sister harmonies and the refrain: “Why worry, worry, let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.”
This video celebrates sisterhood, and stepping into joy.
