Jenni Smith Announces Debut Album + NZ Tour

Auckland-based singer-songwriter Jenni Smith is entering a brand new era with the release of her long-awaited debut album The Girl Next Door, out March 27, alongside her second national tour, ‘The Girl Next Door: The Next Chapter.’

Three years in the making, The Girl Next Door is Jenni’s most personal work to date – a collection of diary-style songs that blend country storytelling with pop sensibility. Known for her “girl-next-door” charm, Jenni’s songwriting captures everything from hopeless romantic daydreams to heartbreak and self-reflection, creating a body of work that feels both intimate and deeply relatable.

Following the album release, Jenni will take these songs on the road for a special run of shows across New Zealand. The tour begins with an Auckland release party at The Ponsonby Social Club, where fans can experience the album live with a full band, before heading to Christchurch and Wellington for more intimate, stripped-back performances.
