JessB Pens Introspective Love Letter ‘See You There’
Tāmaki-based artist, JessB, is on a roll – today releasing See You There, the second single from her upcoming new album.
The cinematic See You There was written between Amsterdam and Aotearoa and co-produced by Andrew Meyer and MOW Music.
“The song is an introspective love letter to someone, talking about a potential future life and hoping to see them there,” says Jess.
“There is an air of hope and hopelessness in both the lyrics and the sonic landscape of the song and the choir and cello added also helps to convey the magnitude of the emotion.”
See You There gives fans another taste of the new JessB album set for release later this year. It follows the record’s first single Not Today – an experimental and high energy track rooted in heartbreak, but with a hopeful undercurrent.

JessB’s music explores authenticity, personal growth, and connection, with the stamina of a professional athlete, the sensitivity of a textbook cancer sign, and the unfettered creativity of an artist who embraces change. The talented artist has spent the last seven years traversing Aotearoa, Australia, Asia, Europe, and the UK, through the shared global cultures that connect hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, ragga and afrobeats. Along the way, she’s shared stages with Kehlani, and Coldplay; has recorded with Sister Nancy, and Sampa The Great and headlined her own tours.
JessB has more international performances on the horizon, after being announced for ELLE & L’s Festival in Berlin, Germany on August 29, Circus in Osaka, Japan on September 21, Circus x Circus Odaiba Festival in Tokyo, Japan on September 23 and the AfroSoul Festival in Brisbane, Australia, on October 11.
