Laeky Releases ‘Live Wire’ Single

Laeky’s Live Wire is a deeply personal reflection on loving someone whose addiction has made them feel unreachable. This track captures the weight of carrying responsibility that was never yours to hold, the constant feeling of bracing for the next crisis and the realisation that loving someone doesn’t always mean you can save them.

While drawn from personal experience, Live Wire speaks to anyone who has watched someone they love struggle with addiction, mental health, or anything that creates distance between people, offering an honest and deeply empathetic perspective on grief, resilience and acceptance.

This track follows the release of not a dancer and is another taste of Laeky’s forthcoming EP, adjacent, due later this year.
