With under three weeks to go, the lineup for Sweet Home Aotearoa just got even more country with the addition of rising Australian star Lane Pittman and local country newcomer Zac Griffith. They join an already stacked lineup including Six60, Tash Sultana (DJ Set), Tami Neilson, Brad Cox, Hori Shaw, South Summit, Rachael Fahim, TheWesternGuide, and Rosie Teese.

Curated by Six60, Sweet Home Aotearoa is a new country and roots festival bringing a taste of Nashville to Aotearoa. Taking place in under three weeks time on Saturday January 3, 2026 at the stunning Matakana Country Park, the one-day summer celebration blends Southern soul, Kiwi storytelling and laid-back festival vibes, pairing world-class artists with great food, drink and a uniquely New Zealand atmosphere.

Teenage Australian country singer-songwriter Lane Pittman brings heartfelt storytelling and modern country polish to the lineup. Most recently on our shores supporting global superstar Luke Combs at Eden Park in January this year, Pittman has quickly built momentum across Australasia, earning a reputation for blending classic country sentiment with a contemporary edge and delivering powerful, honest live performances. With his recent singles ‘Going Nowhere Fast’, ‘Right Til Now’ and ‘Amen For The Weekend’ gaining momentum on both streaming services and radio, there is an obvious buzz around Pittman and his music.

A fresh voice in New Zealand country music, Zac Griffith’s musical journey began at a young age after teaching himself guitar and discovering his calling through Johnny Cash’s Walk The Line. Between hunting, fishing and school, Griffith was rarely seen without his guitar, with music always at the forefront. In 2018, he won a scholarship to attend the Country Music Academy in Tamworth, Australia, where he began honing his craft. In 2023 he was the overall winner at the prestigious NZ Golden Guitar Awards. Most recently, he has released singles ‘Midnights In Georgia’ and ‘When I Go’.

Curated by Six60 following time spent immersed in Nashville’s songwriting culture, Sweet Home Aotearoa is set to become Aotearoa’s premier country and roots festival, a sun-soaked celebration of storytelling, connection and live music to kick off the new year.
