Meech Brothers release single ‘A-Z of Me’ ahead of new EP
Poneke/Wellington indie act Meech Brother’s new single A-Z of Me is set for release today, 17 October 2025. It follows a series of 2023 singles that included the quirky Korean Restaurant and moody Friday Night – both of which enjoyed rotation on student radio stations across the motu as well as on RNZ.
A-Z of Me is about the multiple personas we project and the special few who really know us. As they sing in the chorus:

The barista at the café near my work.
They don’t really know me
Production-wise the track lives somewhere in the indie pop/neo-psychedelia neighbourhood with it’s woozy keyboards, lo-fi drums and double-tracked vocals. It’s fun, sits just above 120bpm and features some rad synth and guitar jams.
