Nivaryn Dane To Release New Single ‘The Rope’ on July 26

The Rope is the new single from 24-year-old artist Nivaryn Dane from Aotearoa. The song was written after hearing They’re Hanging Me Tonight by Marty Robbins and has a slow, stripped-back alt-country vibe.

It carries a similar raw and intimate feel to Johnny Cash’s American Recordings sessions, with simple instrumentation and unpolished production.

The track was recorded and produced by Visko Bryers at Wade River Studios, and mixed and engineered by Reuben Rowentree at Rowentree Audio.

The Rope will be available on all streaming platforms from July 26.
