In keeping with the Pieces of Molly modus operandi, which is it to capture the energy of their live set, Don’t Take Me To The Disco is loud, scrappy and at times, unhinged.

Recorded at the LAB in Auckland and mixed by Chris ‘Frenchie’ Smith from Bubble Studios in Austin, Texas (Motorhead, The Darkness, Jet, The Datsuns) and mastered by Chris Chetland at Kog Studios, the record includes the band’s new single, the filthy rock n roll tune Gatecreeper, which is a thrilling ride from the get go: “We are at heart a high energy rock n roll band and this one is no exception. It’s about slimy characters, and nepotism.”

Gatecreeper joins raucous tracks like the already-released Don’t Take Me To The Disco (You Call Rock N Roll) (from which the album takes its name), Alligator and Skinwalker, which have all received widespread support on streaming platforms and NZ radio, including Hauraki, The Rock and Bayrock.
