Live Nation today announces a stacked line-up of special guests joining the 2026 Auckland Winter Series, with support acts confirmed for upcoming performances from Matt Corby and Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, while Home Brew promise surprise appearances for their highly anticipated sold out hometown return.

Returning for its second year, the Winter Series is a curated concert series presented by Live Nation in association with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, on behalf of Auckland Council Events. The series showcases international acts alongside some of Aotearoa’s most beloved artists across Tāmaki Makaurau this May at Auckland Town Hall.

Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby will be joined by acclaimed Australian artist Gretta Ray and South African-born, Aotearoa-based R&B/neo-soul artist Tusekah for his Auckland performance on Friday May 29.

Two-time ARIA winner and multi-Platinum artist Matt Corby returns to Aotearoa in support of his fourth studio album Tragic Magic. Corby’s 2023 album Everything’s Fine scored three ARIA nominations including Album Of The Year, alongside a nomination for Triple J’s Australian Album of the Year.

Releasing his fourth studio album Tragic Magic this year, the record finds pain and joy and moments of pure fun in liquid basslines, hushed moments and soaring falsetto, wrapped in ever more sophisticated soul. Pulling together a decade of musical evolution, the album dives deeper into Corby’s R&B roots while embracing vintage funk, hip-hop and playful soft rock motifs.

Special guest Gretta Ray arrives fresh off the success of her acclaimed sophomore album Positive Spin + and its expanded release Positive Spin +. Since winning triple j Unearthed in 2016, Ray has become one of Australia’s most celebrated young songwriters, earning ARIA and J Award nominations, touring internationally with Gang of Youths and Maisie Peters, and building a global audience through her viral cover of Billy Joel’s “Vienna.”

Opening the evening is Tusekah, the South African-born singer-songwriter whose blend of R&B, neo-soul and pop has earned widespread attention across Aotearoa and beyond. Having toured extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia, Tusekah has shared stages with artists including PJ Morton, Olivia Dean, Deva Mahal and JessB, while receiving support from Rolling Stone Australia, BBC Radio 1, triple j and CADA.

On Saturday May 30, Afrobeat icon Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 will be joined by rising South African-born, Aotearoa-based artist InDuna.

InDuna’s journey began in the townships of Johannesburg and the villages of Limpopo, where music became an early escape long before it became a career. After moving to New Zealand at fourteen, he taught himself to write and produce, developing a sound that blends Afro-dance-pop with the rhythms and cultural influence of his South African roots.

His breakout single Dreams won Best Original Song at the International Online Web Fest, charted on the Official NZ Hot Singles Chart, and featured in the documentary Ink and Gold: An Artist’s Journey to Olympic Glory. In 2024, he received the Young Global Achiever Award from The King’s Trust, while his 2025 EP Go High debuted at #16 on the Official Top 20 Aotearoa Albums Chart.

Known for high-energy, emotionally driven live performances, InDuna has headlined shows across Wellington and Auckland and supported artists including JessB, Estère and Deva Mahal.

Rounding out the weekend, Auckland hip-hop favourites Home Brew return to Auckland Town Hall on Sunday May 31, with special support acts set to remain a surprise for fans attending the sold out show. Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to catch the full line-up.
