The D4 Celebrate 21st Anniversary Of ‘6Twenty’ with a Limited Run of Special Vinyl

Kiwi rock band The D4 are celebrating the 21st anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut record, 6Twenty. To mark the occasion there will be a limited run of 180g vinyl, a new-take on the album cover and extensive liner notes written by Dion and Jimmy.
Between 1998-2006, The D4 took on the world. They toured relentlessly playing clubs and festivals in the US, UK, Japan, Europe, Australia and New Zealand – these included, SXSW, Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Fuji Rock, Pukkelpop and The Big Day Out.
“6Twenty changed my life. It opened up a world that I had worked towards building from the moment Jimmy and I formed the D4. They certainly were vibrant and wild times. I shared many moments with people all over the globe, some of whom I know will never forget the mark these songs and the shows left on them.” – Dion Lunadon
“As a young man enamoured with rock n roll music and all its promises of hedonic and sonic salvation, I dreamed of a chance to make my own small mark on the historical record. When Dion handed me that first cassette tape of early demos the door opened to an unbelievable world of opportunity. 6TWENTY will always represent the adventure of a lifetime, a catalyst to the formation of unforgettable experiences, and the foundation of many enduring inspirational relationships.” – Jimmy
