Zentarge Release ‘For Them’
For Them is a collection of songs honouring the people and experiences that have shaped Zentarge. Each track tells a different story, but together they form a heartfelt reflection on identity and the connections that define us.
Looking back on their own journey, the duo realised each song had naturally become a dedication to someone or something meaningful. That discovery inspired the album title, For Them, while also reflecting their te reo Māori waiata, Mō Rātou Mā. More than anything, the project is an expression of gratitude to those who came before them, those who stand beside them today and those who will follow.
Hamilton-based brother duo Zentarge, made up of Zenith Te Manawanui and Targe Te Hauroamairangi Tawhara-Crown, first discovered their love of performing while busking as children to help fund basketball tournaments overseas. That foundation has grown into a musical career built on community, hard work, resilience and a deep connection with people. For Them is their most personal body of work to date, one they hope will resonate deeply with everyone who listens.
