The Loving Arms’ gorgeous single ‘Still Need Your Love’ is out today
The Loving Arms release their soulful new single Still Need Your Love today, and celebrate with a special show at Big Fan on Saturday June 3rd, joined by the fabulous Jan Hellriegel.
Taken from The Loving Arms’ critically acclaimed debut album Dreaming Over You, Still Need Your Love features a gorgeous vocal from co-lead singer Catherine Townsend, with string accompaniment by the mighty Dave Khan.
Still Need Your Love is a silky-smooth slice of late-night soul sure to woo listeners with a taste for alt-MOR. And TBH, deep down, that’s something we all need sometimes.
Produced by Kerry Furlong, the song is an album and live highlight. While Townsend mostly contributes harmonies and percussion on the album, on stage she steps up to sing lead on many songs in The Loving Arms’ thrilling live set. Here she really gets to shine – and that’s an understatement.
The song was written by co-lead vocalist Mark Beesley, who was missing a loved one at the time.
