Amelia McNabb Releases New Track ‘Villain’
Villain is the fourth single from NZ pop-artist Amelia McNabb, produced by Michael Collier (Leone). Its meaning is a personal note from the artist on how it felt to be villainised with a sarcastic take on becoming the villain herself. Villain comes paired with a fully independent and DIY video (directed and edited by Amelia) out now on YouTube.
Amelia McNabb is an independent Kiwi/Scottish pop artist, singer and songwriter based in NZ. Known for her pure, yet sultry vocals, paired with pop beats, she has often been called New Zealand’s Lana Del Rey. Mostly recognised from YouTube, her videos have gained international popularity after the release of her second single That Girl (produced by Leone NZ/Mastered by Kog Studios) gaining just under a million views in the first few weeks. Also a multi-instrumentalist, Amelia can be found playing gigs with her guitar captivating audiences with stripped back versions of her pop songs. Recently released is Amelia’s fourth single Villain, available now on all major streaming platforms.
