Mecuzine Announce New Album ‘Wait Until It’s Finished’

Indie Rock Auckland-based duo, Mecuzine, are excited to announce the upcoming release of their third album Wait Until It’s Finished. Members, Joseph and Tony Johns, have confirmed a release date of 3rd October 2025. Their first two albums – Cutting Strings (2018) and Locksmith Thief (2022) – both received high praise.

Wait Until It’s Finished explores themes of unpredictability, digital confusion and loss, blending distorted guitars with mellow acoustic, layered harmonies and evocative storytelling. Drawing comparisons to artists such as Muse and The Smiths, the album is entirely self-produced, written and arranged by Mecuzine and cements their reputation as accomplished songwriters & performers at the forefront of Indie Rock.
