Loop Electronic: Tour 001 Three date New Zealand tour this November

Loop are proud to announce the debut Loop Electronic Tour, a three-show series across Aotearoa this November, celebrating the artists and sounds of Loop Electronic – the label’s new imprint dedicated to forward-thinking electronic music.

Featuring live performances from Sanoi, Harry Charles, Zuke and Dylan C, with special guests Mia Kober in Auckland; Libby K in Wellington and Neil Rice in Christchurch; the shows will deliver an immersive experience highlighting the breadth and creativity of Aotearoa’s evolving electronic scene.

Loop Electronic: Tour 001 marks the first official showcase of the Loop Electronic label. Loop Electronic was launched in 2024 as a sub-label of Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa, with a focus on releasing forward-thinking electronic music from some of Aotearoa’s most exciting producers. Its roster spans a diverse range of styles, from ambient and downtempo to melodic techno and jungle-inspired rhythms, reflecting the depth and creativity of the local scene.

Each show will bring together a curated line-up of electronic performances, inviting audiences to step inside a world of deep grooves, textured soundscapes, and hypnotic rhythms.

“For 24 years, Loop has backed a really eclectic mix of New Zealand music – from pioneering electronic producers to a steady flow of bands and collectives. On the electronic side, Loop artists like Recloose, Electric Wire Hustle, micronism, The Upbeats, 50Hz, Module and Rhian Sheehan have laid a super-solid foundation. In recent years, with some bands on Loop finding commercial success, it feels like the right time to launch a sub-label to support the more niche end of the electronic scene,” says Mikee Tucker, founder of Loop.
