Aldous Harding Shares New Song ‘Coats’

Today, Aldous Harding releases Coats, the third and final single ahead of the release of her upcoming album Train On The Island, which is out this Friday via 4AD. Coats follows early singles Venus In The Zinnea and One Stop; both tracks earned critical praise from New York Times, Pitchfork (Best New Track), NPR Music, The Needle Drop, The FADER and more. The single comes with newly announced tour dates for Australia and New Zealand.
The 10-track LP Train On The Island was co-produced by long-time collaborator John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales, where the pair recorded Harding’s previous bodies of work, Party (2017), Designer (2019) and Warm Chris (2022). Joining Harding and Parish on Train On The Island were pedal steel player Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpist Mali Llewelyn, synth artist Thomas Poli, drummer Sebastian Rochford (Polar Bear) and Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) on bass, vocals, acoustic/electric guitar and organ.
Train On The Island will be available digitally and on CD, standard black vinyl and limited-edition blue vinyl, pre-order HERE
