Jack Bromwich Releases ‘Sinking Boat’
Jack Bromwich is an Indie Rock solo project hailing from Wellington, New Zealand. Following the successful release of his debut EP Poser, Freak in October 2025, Bromwich is back with his first single of 2026 Sinking Boat. The song explores themes of mental turmoil and trying to succeed in life, while facing mental struggles. With fluid rhythmic movement and deeply emotive lyrical matter, Sinking Boat will leave the listener with an understanding that they are never alone in any struggle and that no problem is too big to give up on yourself.
The track was recorded across both Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Pōneke (Wellington) in several different home studios. Bromwich’s DIY ethos remains consistent with this track, with the recording process bringing several of his closest friends together to collaborate.
Sinking Boat is the lead single from the debut Jack Bromwich album Hairscene, which is planned to be released in February 2027.
