Abstract Fish Lungs Release Debut Concept Album ‘The Bleak Midwinter’ + Announce Tour
Nu-Metalcore band Abstract Fish Lungs today release their 11-track debut concept album, The Bleak Midwinter, followed by their first-ever North Island tour.
Blending heavy riffs, dark storytelling, and apocalyptic imagery, The Bleak Midwinter follows three brothers through inner turmoil, change, and acceptance. Each chapter captures an experience that shapes their lives and tests their bond. The difficult experiences behind the album became a means of finding peace. Through music, our thoughts finally took shape, allowing us to transform the weight we carried into something we could let go of.
To celebrate the release, Abstract Fish Lungs will bring the album to stages across the North Island this October and November.
THE BLEAK MIDWINTER – TOUR DATES
October 31 @ The Yard, Raglan
November 6 @ The Last Place, Hamilton
November 21 @ Asgard, New Plymouth
