Beastwars star in episode 2 of UTR’s new comics music journalism series created by Yeehawtheboys

Episode 2 stars Pōneke metal titans Beastwars, who are launching their new album of Aotearoa covers Tyranny Of Distance on 13th October via Destroy Records / Universal. Singer Matthew Hyde spoke with cartoonist / musician Daniel Vernon (Ngāti Kahungunu Te Wairoa) about the journey towards Beastwars’ fifth studio record, adapted with artistic license in his new comic. Daniel Vernon (Ngāti Kahungunu Te Wairoa) is a writer / illustrator who also plays a little music in DARTZ, which makes him a wee bit qualified, in his opinion, to create this comic series on musicians.
