Bic Runga Announces Three Awesome Women (and One Supercool Man) To Join Her Onstage During Her New Zealand Tour

Bic Runga will be performing with a full band on her three-date New Zealand tour, where the first half of the show will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Drive, the second half featuring hits, favourites and her stellar guests. Bic’s super-talented bandmates are Cass Mitchell – Bass (Tiny Ruins); Tom Healy – Guitars (Tiny Ruins); Kody Nielson – Drums (Silicon); Bic Runga – guitar, keys and vocals.

But wait! There’s more! Bic is also collaborating with Miss Crabb for her tour merchandise, as well as her stage attire. Stay tuned for more news about this and the fantastic designs… (I know – can this get any better?)

Asti Loren – 19-year-old Christchurch-born singer-songwriter – has been travelling the world and taking it by storm. Brand ambassador for Trelise Cooper, Psychedelic Rose songcrafter, cameo appearance actor Asti Loren has a mini album in the works, and will be joining Bic onstage for a duet at the Isaac Theatre Royal, Friday 20th October.

Multi-award winning Aaradhna is an amazing force, a heralded songwriter, a soulful voice that delivers a gorgeous lyrical ride. She is graciously pushing the boundaries of time and space to start her own headline tour of Australia the day after she sings a duet with Bic. Aaradhna will appear with Bic at the Civic Theatre on Thursday, 2nd November.

Estère has given TEDx talks; toured South Korea, Africa and conquered Europe; and continually, excitingly pushes creative boundaries. The Empress of Electric Blue Witch Hop will sing a duet with Bic at Wellington’s Opera House on Friday, 3rd November. ((Shout out: Estère’s new album, My Design (Part 1), drops this Friday!!))

Having just completed his music directorship of this year’s APRA Awards, Shayne Carter will be speeding up from Aramoana to play guitar and guest appear on some backing vocals for Bic at the Isaac Theatre Royal. The treats don’t stop!
