Boyracer is an emerging electronic duo from Tāmaki Makaurau consisting of experimental artists and DJs Smurgy and Nima Astria. With an amalgamation of influences including German industrial techno and the New York hyperclub scene, Boyracer uses off-the-cuff lyricism and addictive clangy percussion to test the boundaries of what local music in Aotearoa could sound like.
