Brewtown Upper Hutt announce Amped Up 2025

Amped Up, Aotearoa’s most ferocious new metal festival, has revealed its 2025 line-up – and it’s a storm of sound set to strike Brewtown, Upper Hutt on Saturday, October 25th, from 4pm ‘til late.

Leading the charge are two of New Zealand’s most iconic alt-mental artists including Blindspott, known for their emotionally charged live performances and genre-defying catalogue of contemporary Kiwi metal.

Joining them are Devilskin, bringing their explosive blend of heavy riffs and powerhouse vocals. With platinum records and festival-conquering experience, they’re set to deliver another unforgettable performance.

Support comes from South Auckland Polynesian metal pioneers Shepherds Reign, whose fusion of Pacific heritage and thunderous metal has earned international acclaim.

Festivalgoers can also indulge in a full lineup of craft beer, bourbon, wine, and non-alcoholic options straight from the Brewtown Festival Bars, alongside a curated selection of street food vendors to fuel the night.
