Emily Bateman Releases New Single ‘Sunday Best’
Emily Bateman is a recent graduate of the University of Auckland with a degree in popular music, where she honed her song writing skills and discovered her sound. She has been recording her debut project with drummer and engineer, Tom Broome. October Sun was the first single from her upcoming EP. With performances at The Wine Cellar, Portland Public House, and Underground under her belt, Emily is establishing a presence in the Auckland music scene.

Influenced by artists like Lana Del Rey, Big Thief, and Mazzy Star, Emily blends folk, pop, and rock elements to create dreamy ballads and indie pop songs. She aims to release a third single in the upcoming months.
