Magic Factory are a cauldron of late 60s / early 70s country rock n roll from Auckland made up of members of Bloodbags, The Demi Whores, The DHDFD’s, The Drab Doo Riffs, Hang Loose, Raw Nerves and Vietnam War. Together for just over a year, their debut album Working With Gold is a cacophony of influences including Creedance Clearwater Revival, The Band and Dr. Hook.

The Rolling Stones spent six months tracking Exile on Main Street in the South of France, Magic Factory spent one sweaty afternoon doing the same thing in a living room in Glenfield.
