Raglan Comes Alive: 3 Days of Folk Music, Dance & Community Magic

Join us for the VERY FIRST Raglan Folk Festival!
This is a three-day event filled with soul-stirring music, captivating performances, and a warm community atmosphere in the vibrant coastal town of Raglan. Whether you’re a lifelong folk enthusiast or new to the genre, there’s something for everyone – workshops, jam sessions, live shows and céilí dance sessions.
This year, we’re thrilled to showcase a talented lineup of musicians featuring some of the country’s top folk artists; Rough Town, Gumboot Tango, Moon Goose, WAI.TAI, WilkieMac, Penni Feather, Swabs, Ceól Te Awa, Helen Capes, Fiona Murdoch (Dance Folkus) and Freedom2Fly, alongside other local talent.
The acts will be spread across the town in five different locations, including: Stewart Street Hall, the Church, the Church Green, Wyld Café, and the Harbour View Hotel.
Weekend passes are only available online. However, passes for individual events can be purchased from the Raglan Museum on Wainui Rd and the Church Green Tent Village on 3 Stewart Street on the festival weekend.
So, don’t miss out on this unique celebration of music, culture, and connection. Grab your friends and family and let’s make memories together at the Raglan Folk Festival!
This event is brought to you by Living Productions – Raglan’s premiere event company. Led by Ray Diprose, Raglan’s events are made possible through professional sound and lighting equipment. We are passionate about bringing people together through live entertainment. Ray said “the Church Green will turn into a ‘village’ space for people to relax and kick back, ideal for everyone from families to musicians.”
