Ringlets Announce Debut UK & EU Tour Dates

Aotearoa-based, alternative rock quartet Ringlets are soon heading off – March & April allows them just enough time to pack up an international driving permit, some muesli bars, and a set of guitar strings (can also be used as floss if you don’t mind a little blood) into a polka-dot bindle. May sees them embark on their debut tour of the United Kingdom and Europe, a multi-week run of dates that will introduce the band to northern hemisphere audiences. Further dates are to be announced.
Emerging from the musical ether in 2021 and releasing their eponymous debut in 2023, Ringlets have continued to quietly climb the ranks of Aotearoa’s alternative. Support slots for Sorry (UK), The Damned (UK) and Black Country, New Road (UK) and a performance at Laneway Festival have been notched onto their belt – each one a point in the argument that Ringlets are a live act worth watching.
Ringlets will be playing songs from their 2025 sophomore offering, The Lord Is My German Shepherd (Time for Walkies), which saw the four-piece usher in Michael Logie of The Mint Chicks to produce alongside the band themselves. Mixed later at Abbey Road Studios by Isaac Keating, the result is a collection of songs more cohesive and controlled – yet constantly changing and re-composing itself, totally deserving of the Flying Nun Records alumni position it’s earned them.
Whether that means anything to audiences in London, Scotland, or Berlin remains to be seen. But one can suspect, Ringlets are fine with the challenge.
