Rock Resurrection announce high-octane new single ‘Brand New Thing’
Rock Resurrection, Wellington’s high-energy punk rock band, is set to release their new single Brand New Thing on August 1, 2025. The track captures the restlessness of today’s young generation in a raw and unapologetic sound that blends the urgency of metal-tinged skate punk with the emotional, teenage angst of emo. Brand New Thing is the second single from their upcoming debut album Rock Resurrection.
Established in 2024 by brothers Oliver (15) and Tommy Mackie (13), Rock Resurrection soon added Elliot Conlon (Lead Guitar) and Isaac Baty (Bass) to form the energetic four-piece.
Oliver Mackie describes,
“Brand New Thing is about the relentless search for something bigger and how it can blind us to what’s really important. It’s raw, real, and meant to make listeners hang up and appreciate the now.”
