Sanoi Releases ‘Augenblick’ In Its Entirety
Loop Electronic proudly presents Augenblick in it’s entirety, the latest album from New Zealand–based producer Sanoi. Known for his textured approach to sound design, Sanoi steps into a new creative space with this introspective exploration of nostalgia, emotion, and atmosphere.
Previously only available in two parts, this new release presents Augenblick as it was created and designed to be listened, an experience that feels both cinematic and deeply personal, while blurring the boundaries between ambient soundscapes, downtempo grooves, and lo-fi beatwork.
The result is a genre-blurring, unexpectedly introspective listen, echoing the spirit of mid-1990’s Warp releases (Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin) and the late-2000’s L.A. beat scene (Brainfeeder, Low End Theory). Moments of stillness and melody weave through intricate rhythmic patterns, nodding to these early influences – reimagined through the perspective of a seasoned dance-music artist – while preserving Sanoi’s unmistakable emotional depth and sonic curiosity.
