Say Or Do Release ‘Gravity’ – A Gritty, Melodic Rock Track
Alternative rock band Say Or Do are back with their most intense track yet. Gravity, out March 14, delivers a punchy, melodic rock sound that explores the struggle of feeling weighed down — whether by depression, self-doubt, or just life itself. With dynamic vocals, punchy riffs, and a driving groove, the song captures both the heaviness of those moments and the determination to rise above.
“Gravity is about the effort it takes to lift yourself up when everything feels like it’s pulling you down,” says frontman Sam French. “It’s raw, energetic, and a glimpse into where we’re heading with our music.”
Accompanying the release is a lyric video featuring live footage captured at The Cabana, one of Napier’s most iconic music venues. Capturing the raw energy of their live performance, the video brings the song’s powerful themes to life in a way that fans won’t want to miss.
The track is the final single before the release of Shifting Paradigms, the band’s debut EP, dropping May 2, 2025. The EP follows previous singles like Neon Lights, which gained strong radio traction and introduced fans to the band’s evolving sound. With Gravity, Say Or Do lean into a heavier, riff-driven style while keeping their signature groove and melodic grit.
To support the release, the band will hit the road, playing shows across Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Taupō, and Napier.
