The Infinity Chamber Announces New Album

The Infinity Chamber, the restless alt-rock/folk-grunge project of New Zealand songwriter Dylan Paul Ware, announces the release of its fourth studio album, The Opposite of Everything.
Now available as a Bandcamp exclusive, with a wider digital release across all DSPs on October 1, 2025, The Opposite of Everything is a gathering of previously released singles — collected into one strange, ragged, and beautiful whole.
From grunge-scarred folk to surreal psychedelia, each track stands powerfully on its own yet resonates more deeply in sequence. Together, they form a constellation of outsider songs about identity, disconnection, longing, and the strange joy that flickers amid chaos. Dissonant yet elegant, raw yet poetic, this is a collection that reflects The Infinity Chamber’s refusal to be neatly categorized — carving out a sound both familiar and unclassifiable.
“The Opposite of Everything gathers the songs that have defined us so far,” says Ware, who recently returned home to Nelson, New Zealand after 26 years of traveling and living abroad. “It’s a restless journey, stitched together from fragments of folk, grunge, psychedelia, and the kind of outsider music that doesn’t sit still. If it has a genre, it’s something like psychedelic grunge-folk, or existential forest rock — music for those who feel most alive between the cracks of things.”
This latest release follows three previous studio albums and continues Ware’s long-standing exploration of the uneasy space between beauty and abrasion, intimacy and distance. Fans can also explore The Infinity Chamber’s catalog of handcrafted, surreal video clips on YouTube, each one a companion to the music’s restless, otherworldly vision.
The Opposite of Everything is available now on Bandcamp and will reach all major platforms on October 1, 2025.
