Rising Pop Rock band Where’s Jai returns with their newest single Be Better. Fresh off the final show of their debut album tour just two months ago, a sold out show at The Tuning Fork in front of 430 fans, they show no signs of slowing down. Known for their chaotic live energy and transparent storytelling, the band have your new summer anthem.
Be Better is an honest look at the pressure to keep improving no matter the cost, the burnout, obsession and the endless drive to do more and be better. The track expresses the emotions of chasing your dreams, the highs and lows of trying to outdo yourself while balancing life’s challenges, working, expectations, relationships and the journey of finding yourself.
“It’s about the pressure we all put on ourselves,” says Where’s Jai. “The spiral it leads us down – the constant need to be better.”
Following the success of their debut album in July followed by their five-show headline tour ending in a big sold out show at The Tuning Fork. Where’s Jai have proven themselves as one of Aotearoa’s fastest emerging artists. This new track is a blend of catchy pop melodies mixed with blues rock influences.
