Written as a love letter to toxicity, the song digs into stubbornness, patterns of self-sabotage and the things we keep returning to even when we know better. A huge central riff drives the track through multiple crescendos, with an anthemic chorus giving way to an outro that takes the song somewhere completely unexpected.

Demons follows Happy Waste, which has spent 16 weeks at #1 on the New Zealand Rock Radio Chart since its release in April, continuing a big year for Villainy ahead of their headline appearance at The Rock 2000 at Spark Arena on September 26.
