Boa Lanta are a Christchurch-based duo bringing the warmth, sensuality and groove of late-90’s and early-2000’s R&B into the present. Blending velvet-smooth vocals, rich live instrumentation and polished modern production, the project channels the feeling of a time capsule cracked open – nostalgic in spirit, but fresh in execution. Made up of vocalist Betty Barouni and multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter Fin Gilzean, Boa Lanta creates music that feels like it belongs somewhere between memory and now.
