Crook Releases Second Single From Forthcoming Debut Album – ‘Shoving’
Crook are a menacing 4-piece band of veterans from the Tāmaki Makaurau underground, featuring Aki (Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing, Horror in Clay), Hugh (Alec, Caroles), Fraser (Heroes for Sale, Juiceroof), and Aaron (Saturnian Noise Collective, The Pleasure Majenta). Today Crook announce the release of their newest single, Shoving.
Recorded under the Cosmic Basement on K Road, and produced by L J Pram (SCRAN, For The Girl Who Has Everything, Oscar Dowling), this current series of singles is in anticipation of the release of Crook’s debut album, Murderous Intent, set for release on April 17th via new local label T & M. An accompanying video by Crook, Helen Willis, and T & M presents a collage of skewed cruise ship observations.
A national tour through May and June will be announced with the album release – watch this space! You can also catch Crook supporting US act Drook as part of their tour in April.
