Emerson Releases New Music Video ‘Tip of My Tongue’
Emerson has returned with her highly anticipated new single Tip of My Tongue, a striking pop track that captures the raw, unspoken ache of unrequited love. Co-written by acclaimed producer Harry Charles, the track explores the painful tension between love and silence, and the scars left by feelings left unspoken.
Built around emotionally-charged lyrics like “sew my mouth shut just so I don’t shout your name” and “would you notice my scars?”, Emerson delivers a haunting vocal performance, layered over shimmering, expansive production. Tip of My Tongue showcases her gift for crafting songs that feel both cinematic and deeply personal.
Made possible with support from a New Zealand On Air New Music Single grant, Tip of My Tongue further comes to life through its music video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Tom Grut.
