The fourth single from Robinson’s third EP, Wild Horses is an outright power anthem, with a whole lot of heart. “It captures the euphoria that comes with fully surrendering to the unknown, allowing you to fully dive into life and love,” says the singer and songwriter, who hails from Nelson.

Robinson explains that she was at home playing on the guitar when she stumbled across the chords for Wild Horses. “They felt so euphoric and passion-filled. The words just came out as I played.” She forgot about the song for a while, but revisited it some time later, and finished it with her longstanding creative partner, Charles Macdonald, who co-wrote and produced all of the songs on Heavenly Hell of Mine. This includes the already released tracks, Landslide, The War On Art and David Blaine.

Each of the songs on the upcoming EP, showcase Robinson’s songwriting prowess, with today’s release of Wild Horses – which reflects her more romantic and reflective side – reinforcing her reputation on the global stage as one of New Zealand’s top talents.

Robinson first started turning heads in 2018 with her hit song Nothing To Regret (certified Platinum in New Zealand and double Platinum in Australia).

In 2020, she released her debut four-track EP Watching You, which she followed up in 2023 with her EP, Chasing Nirvana,

Robinson now can’t wait to share Heavenly Hell of Mine with fans on April 16.
