The Vile Maxim Unleash ‘Newtown’ Music Video

Te Aroha, New Zealand punk band The Vile Maxim today release the official music video for Newtown.

Newtown is a love letter to Sydney’s iconic Inner West suburb and a place held particularly dear by two members of the band who lived in the suburb at the same time yet somehow never crossed paths.

The Vile Maxim are a four-piece punk band from Te Aroha, New Zealand, delivering high-energy, intense and raw punk with little interest in polishing off the rough edges. They’ve shared stages with international punk heavyweights Lagwagon, Kiwi punk legends Bleeders, and will shortly hit the road for three New Zealand shows with California punk veterans Strung Out.

The Newtown music video was filmed and produced by Ryan Greenwood, with special thanks to Ōkahukura Studio for allowing the band to use their incredible space.
