Saurian Drop New EP ‘Punk 4 Suthern Creaturez’
Saurian’s brand new EP Punk 4 Suthern Creaturez features their three latest singles The Ballad of Officer Craig, Mr Miyagi (Rock On/Rock Off), and Helicopter Hat, as well as two new tracks! This EP is Saurian’s way of acknowledging the music of their hometown and surrounding region, bringing punk and noise elements into their music.
The whole EP was recorded at SIT in Invercargill with Will Mlburn on the desk and then sent to Chris Chetland at KOG to be mastered. The result (as you will hear for yourself) is a hard hitting, huge sound that punches you in the face repeatedly and shows no mercy and that’s what this EP is all about.
The band’s next mission is a tour of the lower South Island to bring it to the people live and loud! Starting in Timaru (June 5), the tour will go through Christchurch (June 6), Oamaru (June 7), and finish in Invercargill (June 14). While Dunedin has been cut from this tour, the band promises something special for their hometown a little later down the track.
